On Tuesday, June 2, 2008, the one piece sculpture was moved from 701 E. Maple, to 3401 E. River Rd. in Mount Pleasant. The crucifix move was engineered by Keith Voeks, Matt Vogel and Dave Coyne. Several men from the congregation assisted them with the lowering and raising of the crucifix. Assistants: Ronnel Deeg, Rudy Block, Al Block, Rod Dent, Brian Tice, Dale Gust, Marvin Chudej, John Schimmelmann, Lynn Laskowski, Todd Greenlee, Bill Ellis, and Dan Milan.
