Who are we & what is our purpose? All women of Zion are members and are encouraged to attend meetings. Guests are always welcome as well. Our purpose is to develop and maintain greater mission awareness in conjunction with the Michigan District LWML, provide service and outreach to those missions, as well as to our congregation, and to provide opportunity for Bible study and fellowship..All women of Zion are members and are encouraged to attend meetings. What circles do we offer and when does each circle meet?
Ladies Breakfast/Bible Study.
Come join us for breakfast and Bible study at Christ The King Chapel at 9:00 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month beginning Saturday, September 11th. At each breakfast we will have a Bible study led by Anne Bakker.
Crafters:
Do you love to sew, knit, scrapbook, make cards, etc? Then we would love for you to come to this circle on the second Saturday of the month at 10:00 a.m. This is right after the Ladies Breakfast/Bible Study. Meet at CTK. All crafts welcome.
CWLSG:
Are you struggling with your weight or your overall health due to poor eating habits and lack of exercise? You are invited to join the Christian Weight Loss Support Group on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. in the Mueckler Library at Zion.
Quilting:
No experience necessary! Come every Tuesday anytime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. beginning September 7th to help make quilts for Lutheran World Relief. Bring a sack lunch if you plan to be there during lunch.
Outreach:
This circle provides an opportunity for our women to reach out and visit members, international students, and college students who are shut-in, in the hospital, or in need of visits for any reason.
